REQUEST #1 Pornchai Sawsri (257 cm claimed)
In order to estimate the height if P.Sawsri (from knee to top of head) I need size information of at least one of the objects marked with an arrow. Do someone recognize the brand or model of the objects. The objects are: yellow arrow, bottle of water? red arrow: Blue and white can, looks like the brand says “pop”? green arrow: small water bottle, no logo.

(JULY 9th 2021)
So, I did a 3D diorama from the photo above. The small bottle, the giant and the man to the left is included in the diorama. The camera position was estimated using the walls in the background.
Making the bottle 1 unit in height. The height of the man and the giant are 6,46 units and 6,58 units.
So to find out the true height of the man (according to this diorama) the height of the bottle must be known. I guess that the bottle is a 50 cl. The height of the bottle is then multiplied with 6,58 to find out the height of the seated giant.
I also did a rough estimation on the height of the giant if he stood up and also another estimation if hes back would be straight. Please note that these estimations are very very rough. In order to make more accurate estimations further work needs to be done.

on this photo there is red strawberry fanta (but fanta on thai is more like coca cola). The bottle is 34-33cm because it is 1.75 l

and the bigger one is around 4l i guess by looking on photo, it is also a product was around 40cm

Yes. I have seen the image where he is laying down. But it is so hard to work on since the perspective is bad. I think that in order to work with that one we need to find the model of the bed he is laying in.
Hm it isnt easy to found his model of bed and also i spend hour of finding height of water and soda its around 40cm, also the men around him on that photo looks like 170cm, them he looks like 8 ft 5 as he claimed, also if you could find height of him laying down on bed from that side it would be awesome, remember also that soda is 2l so around 39cm

Actually, when looking at more and more pictures of him, I tend to doubt the 257 cm claim. Looks more like 2,30-2,35 at most. There is images of him getting a bicycle and sitting with a lot of people. In these pictures he does not seem that tall.
Yup as i said before he was in 2013 236cm but i think he could be 240 but i dont know, i also added few more things to my wiki
also when he got that it was year 2012-13
i think he could be at death around 248, in 2013 he was measured as 236 i can send you video if you need, also 1 month later he got an bicycle from some doctors and at death when he claimed to be 268 he could be 248, also i think thai said that he patient was 257 but in reality around 235 or 236, they could write 21cm taller on his card that his real height, also he was looking taller at death than in 2013, another example “Vikas Uppal”, he was reported once to be 250 but later 268, in reality he was around 248, so 20cm, it is an theory about his tall so an visual 3D would be awesome

Hi. The image is not good for estimating his height. The picture of him seated in a chair is probably better. If we can find the dimensions of that specific chair, Sometimes I look for these kind of objects on Ebay.

Are you able by any chance to estimate giant John Turner?
There were several medical reports conflicting his real height
One says 7 feet 3 in (221.0cm), other 7 ft 7 in (231.1cm), and most extreme one claims 8 ft 3 in (251.4cm). My opinion is that he was closer to 7 ft 7 inches than 8 feet 3 inches, but I would have hard time believing he was only 7 ft 3 in, corrected height assuming spinal curvature. Could you do one on John william rogan the second tallest man?? Their are only about 4 pics of him ….all in a sitting position
Hi. It should be possible to estimate Rogans height using the photo of him seated in a chair. Doing a series of 3D models of Rogan in seated position, and then measuring the same models in standing position, an average value of the ratio of chair vs standing height could be used as an indication of Rogans height assuming the chair is of standard height. From this, an even more accurate estimation could be done if we could identify the exact model of the chair that Rogan is sitting on. Remember that there are dimensions of Rogans body parts listed in the medical exam that´s reachable through the archived http://www.thetallestman.com. There is also a photo of his hands next to a ruler. All this information could be useful. Right now I am very busy raising a family, writing on a music album and also doing some work that we’ll be published on this site later this year. So I am not able to do this work in a while. Good job, I also think Saosri is more in the 7″9″ max, two Giants that i would like to see in future in this website if you have time are John W.Rogan(267cm) and Ho Van Trung(257cm) even if I think that Trung was more in the 250cm range and 254cm/8’4″ at max whit corrected height.
